1.       Purchaser’s Statutory Rights

The rights (including implied rights) and remedies, which the owner has under the Trade Practices Act and other State consumer laws, are additional to the benefits conferred by this Products distributed by Advance Audio Warranty.

2.       Products distributed by Advance Audio Warranty

Except for the exclusions below, Advance Audio Australia Pty Ltd warrants that it will repair or, at its option, replace Products distributed by Advance Audio products as specified below where such Products distributed by Advance Audio product is defective by reason of faulty workmanship or materials, free of charge for parts and labour as periods of time listed below:

Goldenear-Five years on drivers and cabinets, three years on electronics.

Gryphon-Five years on preamplifiers and phonostages, three years on integrated amplifiers, two years on power amps and speakers, three years on CD players.

Hegel-Five years on amplification, two years on disc players and one year on laser.

KEF-Five years on passive components and one year on all other products.

Lilin-Three years on Lilin manufactured products and one year on third-party products.

Linn-Five years.

Lyngdorf-Three years.

Mark Levinson-Five years.

MBL-Five years.

Padimount-One year.

Pass Labs-Five year.

Revel-Five year on drivers and cabinets, one year on amplifiers.

TruAudio-Lifetime excluding outdoor and active electronic components which carry a one year warranty.

Videostorm-Two years.

VTL-Two year warranty on components excluding tubes which carry a six month warranty.

Wilson Audio-Five years on speaker components and amplifiers, three years on processors.

3.       Conditions:

This warranty:

a.       Only applies

i.           in respect of Products distributed by Advance Audio products described herein which are purchased in Australia from an Advance Audio dealer;

ii.           if the said Products distributed by Advance Audio have been installed and used in accordance with the instructions displayed on the unit or in the relevant instruction manual;

iii.           and if the Warranty Card attached hereto and proof of purchase in the form of a receipt from an authorised Advance Audio dealer is presented when requesting Products distributed by Advance Audio Warranty Service; and

b.       Is void in the event of any service undertaken by an unauthorised service centre or any tampering of any nature in respect to the said Products distributed by Advance Audio products by unauthorised persons.

4.       Place Of Service:

a.       Contact your local dealer for authorised service centres.

5.       Purchase Registration:

a.       Owners of Products distributed by Advance Audio products should return the Warranty Registration Form to Advance Audio Australia Pty Ltd, and any change of address or ownership should be notified to Advance Audio Australia Pty Ltd at the specified address.

6.       No servant or authorised service centre of Advance Audio Australia Pty Ltd has authority to add to or alter the terms of this Products distributed by Advance Audio Warranty.

7.       Exclusions:

This Products distributed by Advance Audio Warranty excludes:

a.       Accessories. Also, damage caused by power plugs and leads, glass or plastic accessories, appearance items and cabinetry.

b.       Damage by accident, misuse or negligence, or products repaired or tampered with, by anyone other than Advance Audio Australia Pty Ltd or its authorised service centre.

c.       Any service outside normal business hours.

d.       Calls to attend any adjustment which could have been corrected by the owners, or because of inadequate external power supply faults in any other ancillary equipment or external interferences.

e.       If the owner is not in attendance at the address, as advised to Advance Audio Australia Pty Ltd or its authorised service centre, during normal business hours, and an appointment has been made and service is attempted, additional charges may be made at prevailing rates for each such call.

f.        Insurance of the product in transit or when held by Advance Audio Australia Pty Ltd or any other party.

g.       If any serial number is removed or defaced.

h.       Subject to the purchaser’s rights referred to herein, Advance Audio Australia Pty Ltd hereby excludes to the maximum extent permitted by law, all other liability in respect of the product.

i.        Any circumstances termed as “Acts of God” – for example, earthquakes, typhoons, flash floods etc. which should normally be covered by normal household insurance policy.

8. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
