Phobos

PHOBOS is a floor standing loudspeaker. Its slim shape hides its true weight - 40 kilograms. Its structure, built using EVENTUS' exclusive material [EA-HDR] EVENTUS Audio High Density Resin, utilises the patented SACC Technology that reduces cabinet vibrations and internal reflections to a minimum. The front panel is 40 mm thick, and the side walls are a maximum of 60 mm thick. The crossover, located outside the cabinet at the bottom of the loudspeaker, is damp-mounted in order to minimise the deleterious effects of the driver vibrations. The PHOBOS construction uses only very high quality components: free air coils, polypropylene capacitors, carbon resistors and high grade cables.

PHOBOS is delivered with steel support spikes, and steel plates that protect floor surfaces.

About the Brand

EVENTUS Audio was born in the January 2000 for wish of three partners with a passion for the music and High Fidelity. The patented Technology, SACC, is unique in all over the world. Its use resolves many problems about resonances and reflections inside the cabinet of loudspeaker. The fundamental ideas behind SACC are very simple. First, a loudspeaker cabinet must be acoustically neutral: it must not add anything to the original music signal. Secondly, the time had come to free loudspeakers from their decades old, conventional shape. These two requisites compelled the total rethinking of loudspeaker construction. Thus, Simulated Anechoic Cabinet Construction SACC was born. It has given rise to the finest in audio quality, and has freed loudspeaker cabinet design to produce an, until now, unknown harmony between cabinet and ambience. Now, loudspeaker design is only limited by the imagination.
