The Nº 32 places power supply and control circuitry together in one chassis (the Nº 32 Reference Controller) while preamplifier circuitry occupies another (the Nº 32 Reference Preamplifier). This separation of tasks is as logical as it is effective. AC power supplies, microprocessors, LED displays – anything that generates noise – are totally isolated from the low-level audio signals.
