Astin Trew products available with black fascia finish.

The Astin Trew range of high quality audiophile products, are now to be available in black, alongside the current silver fascia option,
starting with the AT3500 CD player (universally praised for its musicality and good value in the serious audio magazines around the world).

The entire range will eventually be offered with black fascias, Astin Trew are bringing out their new AT2000 integrated amplifier and also the cheaper AT3000 CD player with black fascia options this summer, and all the product range will be offered with both silver and black fascias by the end of the year.

“We have become aware over the past year or so of an increasing demand for a black fascia option.  It seems we are going ‘back to black’ as a product style trend” says Michael Osborn, designer and Managing Director of Astin Trew.

For most audiophiles and music lovers, aesthetics will not be the driving force for deciding on whether to buy an audio product.  If however, all your HiFi separates are black finished, you are probably going to think twice about buying a silver finished product.

The black etched aluminium fascia and black display glass look particularly good set against the gun metal grey finish of the casing.  The applied graphics and button detailing help to prevent the black finish look too funereal!
