This is why Linn DS is designed to be completely open, allowing a customised solution to be specified, from the best data storage for the job (Linn don't build in redundant hard drives to our products) to the most suitable control system (our code is open source, allowing third party programmers the ability to control our products). In addition, Linn are working with leading control companies to expand the range of compatible third party control systems.

Even if using other third party sources, there is a significant advantage in using Linn amplification and speakers to get the most from them.
